Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)

How our CSA works: . .

The philosophy behind Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is one of shared risk; farmers and CSA members share the bounty of the harvest as well as the risk of crop failure. Shareholders support the farm through an “up-front” payment, which allows the farmer to avoid borrowing money to plant the crop.

Each week, the members receive a share of our freshly harvested, seasonal veggies and herbs.  Our share runs for 16 weeks, starting in mid-June through the end of September including a fun, Fall decoration share. At your first pick up, we will provide you with a reusable bag to use every week for your share. When you arrive during the pick up times, you will go to the designated CSA area where one of our team members will assist you with bagging your share.

Distribution is held on Tuesdays 2:30-5 pm and Fridays 3-5 pm at our farm stand located at the corner of Route 203 & Merwin Road.  (GPS 4 Merwin Rd.) You must choose one day that works best for you for the entire season.

We are offering a one size share that will accommodate 2-4 people. Some people like to split the share with a friend or family member. Others have preserved the excess for use in the winter months.

Thank you for supporting our farm! We look forward to supplying you with a bounty of delicious fresh veggies.

(Shares not picked up during the designated times will be donated to a local food pantry.)
